We are sad to inform you that due to Covid-19, there will not be a Dynamo Recreation League Season in the fall of 2020.

Instead, we’re working on some ways to continue to reach out and keep kids involved in soccer in a distanced way until we can all get back on the fields together.

We on the Dynamo Board spent a lot of time discussing this internally, sifting through advice and requirements from organizations above us such as PA West Soccer and the PA State Government, monitoring our area’s COVID situation, talking to medical and epidemiological professionals in the region, preparing COVID policies and plans and purchasing special equipment, and generally trying to find a way forward so our kids could get back on the field safely. But in the end we have decided that holding a fall season safely and responsibly would not be manageable. 

We know a lot of parents were hoping for a fall season. The decision to cancel was not made lightly, and many of the board members would have loved to have had a season from a personal perspective. But as an organization—rather than as individual Dynamo parents and coaches—there are different safety, financial, and legal issues we had to consider.

We are hoping that playing again in the spring is an easy, absolutely positive decision.
