Do I need proof of age or a head shot*?

YES: You will need a scanned image or picture of your child's state issued birth certificate or passport. If you cannot locate said proof of age documents, you can purchase a copy of your child's birth certificate for $20 (add $18 for certified mail) via VitalChek (and note: takes a few weeks for processing; register with any pic and upload when you get it).

Please also note that scans or pics (of headshot and proof of age) must be .jpg format.

To upload a headshot (should be done every two years), log into the Affinity system (note: click on "User Login" upper left), and click the "Upload Photo" link in your child's "Family Members" section tile, then "Choose File" button (then in that popup, browse and select a file from your computer and click Choose button, then click the Resize button as many times as needed to be able to see your child's face in that popup window, then Crop button, and click and drag from one corner to another, so as to select just the head and top of shoulders, and click Crop again (and click Rotate if needed). Then click the Upload Image button.
If you already have a photo, but you want to update it, after clicking Upload Photo on the member tile, click the Edit button in the upper right, then click the "Load Other Image" button (but it appears to be missing now, so have the help desk delete your old photo first, and just pretend like you are uploading for the first time).

To upload a proof of dob pic (which only needs to be done once), click the "View Details" button for the family member tile in question, then at the bottom, click the "Certificates" tab, then click on the image button with "Click to upload BC", then click Browse button (then browse that pupup to find the picture on your computer and click Choose (then resize, rotate and/or crop and then click the Upload Image photo.

*note that you cannot upload a new pic every two years (as you should), so please email travel@pghdynamo.org if the player card stops resembling your child.

Who gets emailed (how to set primary contact)?

We always use the primary contact; i.e. a single email address per family. If you are not getting emails from us, log into the Affinity system (note: click on "User Login" upper left). In the "My Account" menu drop down (pale blue band at the top), select "Add More Family Members"; then, click the "Switch Primary" link, then pick the right family member in the drop down and click the Save button (note: you're not listed, cancel then click the "Add New Parent/Guardian" button, fill in info, click Add button, then "Switch Primary").

How do I activate players each week (18 max)?

Are you only seeing the first 18 players on your GDR (i.e. you won't see the last 4 players sorted alphabetically, but that may not be the 4 who aren't showing)?

Log in to the Affinity system (note: click on "User Login" upper left)
if already logged in, click "My Account" tab way upper right
look below your family member tiles, for a "Teams" tab, then click on the sub tab "Tournament & Scheduling Apps."
then on the right, click the "View Tourn. App." link
click on the "Player Roster" tab at the top
check/uncheck players (the "Active?" column), then be sure to click the "Set Active Players" button

How do I add a guest player (aka club pass)?

Note: they have to be same age or younger and on a same divsion or lower team (and you can only use up to three, as long as it doesn't put you over the 22 max, and note you can only active 18, see above FAQ).

Log in to the Affinity system (note: click on "User Login" upper left)
if already logged in, click "My Account" tab way upper right
look below your family member tiles, for a "Teams" tab, then click on the sub tab "Tournament & Scheduling Apps."
then on the right, click the "View Tourn. App." link
click on the "Player Roster" tab at the top
click the "Add Club Pass Player" button (note: button dissappears when you have 22 rostered)
search by name or player ID number (the other coach can tell you)
click Add to Roster (print your GDR and be sure to borrow their player card from the other coach!)

How do I add jersey numbers (to my GDR)?

Log into the Affinity system (note: click on "User Login" upper left)
if already logged in, click "My Account" tab way upper right
look below your family member tiles, for a "Teams" tab (which will default to a "Teams" sub tab)
on its right, click the "Team Info" (or "Apply to Tournament") link
in the "Team Roster" tab, at the bottom, click the "Edit Player Team Info" button
add the home and away jersey #'s (which will most likely be the same; and optional "position" drop down menu)
be sure to click "Save changes" button (lower right) when done

If you were an admin of some of the players in the past, you can lookup jersey numbers from previous seasons: in the Teams tab, note the "Show Past Teams" button centered on the bottom (then "Team Info" link to right of whichever season gets listed)

How do I print my GDR?

Log in to the Affinity system (note: click on "User Login" upper left)
if already logged in, click "My Account" tab way upper right
look below your family member tiles, for a "Teams" tab, then click on the sub tab "Tournament & Scheduling Apps."
then on the right, click the "Schedules/Game Scoring" link
scroll down and click the "Print Roster" button in the first column (noting that this button will only appear for the current/upcoming week's game; also, you may need to select "flight" drop down menu at top, if your AGC scheduled you for a division cross-over game)
make sure to print two copies (one for ref, one for opponent)

How do I print my signed PA West roster?

Log into the Affinity system (note: click on "User Login" upper left)
if already logged in, click "My Account" tab way upper right
look below your family member tiles, for a "Teams" tab (which will default to a "Teams" sub tab)
on its right, click the "Team Info" (or "Apply to Tournament") link
in the "Team Roster" tab, at the bottom, click the "Print PAWest Roster" button
print one copy and bring same copy to every game (with players cards printed by commish team)

How do I add the score of a game when my team wins (or home team in a tie)?

Log in to the Affinity system (note: click on "User Login" upper left)
if already logged in, click "My Account" tab way upper right
look below your family member tiles, for a "Teams" tab, then click on the sub tab "Tournament & Scheduling Apps."
then on the right, click the "Schedules/Game Scoring" link
scroll down and click on the empty cell under "Score" for the game you are entering
in the popup window, note ability to enter who scored the points and red/yellow cards
be sure to click the "Save Stats & Comment" button (then close the window)
(keep your referee/coach signed GDR in case of a dispute; or, email each time to your AGC if they want it regardless: go to pawest-soccer.org, then in the YOUTH menu, select Classic, Divion 4, or hover over Districts and select District 1 (aka east) or District 2 (aka north))
