The league also reserves the right to restrict an age level's games to a single day to ensure that each team has a sufficient number of opponents. For example, if U7/8 girls has enough players for only six teams, the league will seek to play all games in this age level on a single day.

U5 - Co-ed- Born in Jan-Dec 2013 3v3 one field

U6 - Co-ed : Born in Jan - Dec 2012 3v3 side by side

U7 Co-ed : Born Jan - Dec 2011 3v3 side by side

U8/9 - Boys & Girls : Born in 2010 & 2009 5+GK v 5+GK

U10/11 - Boys & Girls : Born in 2008 & 2007 minimum 5v5 (4+GK), ideally 7v7.

We are waiting to see registration numbers before determining where the u12 and 13 players will play. If we get numbers like the fall, the boys will join with the u13 boys; the girls will join the u10/11 girls.

U12 - Boys & Girls : Born in 2006.

U13 Boys & Girls : Born in 2005,

U14+ Boys & Girls 2004 and older.

*All children playing Pittsburgh Dynamo rec soccer during ANY SEASON must be at least FOUR TURNING FIVE IN THE CALNEDAR YEAR to play. This minimum age is established by the PA West Soccer Association.

Notes regarding registration:

1. Rosters must have a minimum of 75 percent of City of Pittsburgh residents.

2. Please note that age levels can close prior to the end of regular registration if team rosters are full. Also, due to field space limitations, the league must limit the number of teams practicing each weeknight and the number of teams scheduled for Sunday games. If your child is not available on certain practice nights or game days, please consider registering early.

3. Regarding payment by check: If you have chosen to register online and to pay by check, payment must be received before your child is eligible to be assigned to a team. Dynamo cannot hold a place on a team based on an unpaid registration. Dynamo reserves the right to reject registrations that remain unpaid after 10 business days, so please submit payment promptly. Checks should be made out to Pittsburgh Dynamo Youth Soccer and mailed to P.O. Box 8217, Pittsburgh PA 15217.

4. One registration preference is taken into consideration but is not guaranteed. The league's primary goals are to create balanced teams and secure volunteer coaches for those teams.

5. Please note that the recreation league is run entirely by volunteers. Every coach and every commissioner is a volunteer who is donating his or her time and talents to the league for the benefit of your child. All players' parents are required to volunteer and to act as members of a community, not as clients or customers.

6. Upon request, the player registration fee will be refunded prior to the 2nd game, less a $15 processing fee. No refunds will be granted after the second game weekend of the season except in the case of season ending injury. The league does not refund the late registration fee.

7. A note about the game schedule: The league's game schedule can be finalized only after the league receives field permits from the City of Pittsburgh and determines the final number of teams in each age level of play. At this time, the league expects that Sunday games will occur between 8am and 6pm . Saturday games are likely to begin at 8AM. The league plans to schedule games so that the youngest age levels play earlier in the day.

We can always use players, especially on the girls side.

We can always use coaches. We can teach you the basics needed to run a rec session/season.

We are hoping to offer Sunday play at every age, but we need at least 4 teams per age to do that.
